CALCIUM LIGNOSULFONATE

Calcium Lignosulfonate is a Calcium Salt of Lignosulfonic Acid, which is produced as a by-product during the sulfite pulping process used in the manufacture of paper. It is a yellowish to light brown powder that is soluble in water and has a slightly sour taste. Calcium lignosulfonate is also used in various other industrial applications, including as a dispersant in the paint and coating industry, as a binder in the production of molded fuel briquettes, and as a soil conditioner in landscaping.
